My interest in the Appalachian Trail (AT) began as a travel adventurer, but as I experienced God's Nature touching my soul and renewing my spirit, the AT hiking trips became a series of faith journeys over 25 years. AT enthusiasts will enjoy detailed Trail descriptions and 30 photos of the Trail. Each one of the 40 reflection devotionals addresses a specific experience in my spiritual growth journey. The devotionals are grounded in scriptural quotes. Every devotional includes personal Trail experiences and AT stories of other trekkers. A closing prayer follows the devotional. A question then guides the reader to further personal thoughts. I hiked 2,000 AT miles! More importantly, I found answers to my quest; a life journey grounded in trusting Jesus Christ. Beth is the owner of Life Maps Coaching and author of Life Maps Workbook, Lifestyle Goal Setting Journey for Women. Beth's core beliefs and faith guide a forty-year career as a licensed clinical socialworker and life coach. Beth is married to Tim Abel, a Methodist pastor, and parent to Adrianne, RW and Debby. She is also blessed with five grandchildren. Beth and Tim live in Austin, Texas and summer in the cooler weather of the New Mexico mountains enjoying hiking, fishing, and relaxing under a big starry night sky. Beth's love for God's Nature is apparent in her history of Appalachian Trail backpacking and hiking. Her favorite pastime is inspiring teenage Girl Scouts to be self-sufficient in the outdoors. Beth's lifestyle is guided by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Those who know her well describe Beth as "one who carries the light of Jesus." Contact Beth Eden Abel at
